The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the strategy, positioning, and commercial success of the product portfolio, with a strong emphasis on new product development (NPD). This role sits at the intersection of marketing, product, clinical/scientific, and sales, ensuring that new innovations are market-driven, competitively positioned, and successfully launched.

This individual will lead the end-to-end commercialization process—from insight generation and concept development through launch and lifecycle management—ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.



Key Responsibilities:

New Product Development (NPD)
  • Lead marketing input into the product development lifecycle, from concept through commercialization
  • Define market requirements, target segments, and unmet needs through primary and secondary research
  • Develop business cases, product concepts, and value propositions for new innovations
  • Partner with R&D, clinical, and regulatory teams to ensure products meet market and customer expectations
  • Drive voice-of-customer (VOC) initiatives, including engagement with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and customers
  • Support portfolio strategy and innovation roadmap planning   
Product Marketing Strategy
  • Develop clear product positioning, messaging, and differentiation grounded in customer insights and competitive analysis
  • Define target audiences, segmentation, and go-to-market strategies
  • Translate technical/clinical data into compelling, customer-centric narratives
  • Lead pricing and value strategy in partnership with commercial teams
Go-to-Market & Launch Excellence
  • Own and execute global product launch plans, including timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional alignment
  • Develop launch toolkits, sales enablement materials, and training programs
  • Partner with regional and local teams to ensure effective market activation
  • Track and optimize launch performance against defined KPIs
Commercial & Sales Enablement
  • Equip sales teams with tools, messaging, and training to drive adoption and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to refine value propositions and customer engagement strategies
  • Support key accounts and strategic opportunities as needed
Lifecycle Management
  • Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and market dynamics
  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements, line extensions, or repositioning
  • Manage product portfolio health, including sunsetting decisions where appropriate

  • Serve as the central point of coordination across marketing, R&D, clinical, regulatory, and sales
  • Ensure alignment across stakeholders and drive accountability to timelines and outcomes
  • Influence without authority in a highly matrixed organization
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 5–8+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or related roles
  • Experience in healthcare, medical device, aesthetics, dental or life sciences strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of leading new product development and successful product launches
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and storytelling capabilities
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical, clinical, and commercial teams
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling messaging
