Role Overview
The VP of Sales – Aesthetics Division will be a catalyst for Fotona’s next phase of hyper-growth. This commercial executive will define the strategy, drive execution, elevate talent, and champion a winning culture across the U.S. Aesthetics business.
You’ll lead a dynamic field sales organization, regional sales leaders, and inside-sales teams while partnering cross-functionally to accelerate adoption of Fotona’s category-leading devices. You will reinforce process discipline, empower leaders, and fuel the momentum needed to win.

1. Ignite Growth & Lead Sales Strategy
- Develop and execute a bold commercial strategy to deliver accelerated revenue growth.
- Translate strategy into clear operating plans, regional execution priorities, and attainable performance targets.
- Partner with Marketing, Clinical, and Operations to align on messaging, segmentation, sales motions, and customer experience.
- Lead, coach, and develop a national sales team, including regional sales leaders.
- Instill a culture of urgency, accountability, empowerment, and customer obsession.
- Strengthen strategic customer engagement to drive new adoption, penetration, and lifetime value.
- Build a strong leadership bench and talent pipeline through coaching, mentorship, and succession planning.
- Elevate selling capability through consistent coaching and performance management.
- Serve as a mentor and performance multiplier, developing leaders to scale.
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement and Clinical to build impactful training and onboarding frameworks.
- Own sales forecasting, budgeting inputs, territory planning, and pipeline discipline.
- Use data and insights to prioritize activity, evaluate performance, and direct strategy.
- Ensure strong adoption of Salesforce.com to enable visibility, efficiency, and accountability.
- Establish scalable sales processes, frameworks, and operating rhythms.
- Partner with leadership & commercial operations to design sales compensation strategy, quotas, incentive structures, and SPIFF programs that drive balanced, sustainable growth.
- Leverage continuous-improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to optimize commercial execution.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Enablement to ensure sales teams have compelling content, messaging, and tools to win.
- 10+ years of sales experience in medical device, aesthetic capital equipment, or specialty healthcare.
- 5+ years of people management, including experience leading sales leaders preferred.
- Proven ability to lead high-performing, geographically dispersed field teams and consistently exceed targets.
- Demonstrated strength in coaching, talent development, building leaders, and succession planning.
- Strong business and financial acumen with deep experience in forecasting, budgeting, and revenue modeling.
- Experience partnering on or influencing sales compensation design (quota setting, variable comp plan development, SPIFFs).
- Highly analytical mindset: comfortable using data to simplify, prioritize, and drive action.
- Strong process-focused operator with experience scaling teams and strengthening commercial discipline.
- Experience leading cross-functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Operations, and Finance.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous-improvement methodologies preferred.
- CRM fluency (Salesforce.com preferred); strong command of sales technology and reporting.
- Exceptional communication & executive-level influence skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Ability to travel nationally ~50% of the time to support customers, regional leaders, and strategic priorities.
- Ability to work at a computer and sit for extended periods.
