Fotona is seeking a Director of Digital Marketing to lead the transformation of our digital ecosystem and strengthen our position as a global leader in medical technology. This role will be responsible for building best-in-class digital experiences that elevate our brand, drive engagement across the customer journey, and deliver measurable business growth.

The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in digital marketing and performance optimization with the leadership skills to inspire and guide a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities:

       Digital Strategy & Brand Experience
  • Define and execute Fotona’s holistic digital vision across web, mobile, social, and other digital channels.
  • Translate brand strategy and reputation for innovation into intuitive, scalable, and emotionally resonant digital experiences.
  • Develop and manage the enterprise-wide digital roadmap, balancing short-term wins with long-term innovation.
  • Champion a customer-first mindset, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and usability across all digital touchpoints.
  • Explore and integrate emerging technologies (AI, personalization, conversational interfaces, etc.) to enhance customer engagement.
  • Ensure all digital programs comply with global healthcare regulations, data privacy laws (GDPR, etc.), and medical device marketing standards.
       Performance Marketing & Analytics
  • Lead development and execution of multi-channel campaigns (search, social, programmatic, email, and web).
  • Drive SEO, content marketing, and organic social strategies, ensuring alignment with paid initiatives.
  • Optimize campaign performance for lead generation, conversion, and revenue growth.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, maximizing ROI and efficiency.
  • Establish KPIs for adoption, retention, satisfaction, and digital revenue, and deliver actionable insights using analytics platforms.
       Leadership & Collaboration
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing digital marketing team, establishing clear goals, ownership structures, and career paths.
  • Collaborate with brand, creative, communications, and product marketing teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and execution.
  • Create and uphold standards that ensure design and content excellence across digital channels.
  • Partner with global and regional teams to align digital strategies with corporate priorities and market needs.
  • Serve as a thought leader internally and externally, representing Fotona’s digital innovation at industry forums and events.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive digital marketing experience, including website launches and integrated campaign management.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role within a high-growth, corporate environment; medical device or other highly regulated industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success in building and scaling digital ecosystems that deliver measurable business results.
  • Strong ability to translate brand vision into high-impact digital strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of a myriad of digital tools and platforms.
  • Advanced skills in conversion rate optimization, funnel optimization, and A/B testing.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across creative, technical, and commercial functions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 15-20%).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work at a computer and sit for extended periods.
