Fotona is currently seeking a Field Service Engineer – Installer for an entry-level role designed for individuals who are passionate about technology, problem-solving, and hands-on work. In this position, you will be responsible for the installation and setup of high-tech medical and dental lasers systems at customer locations. Comprehensive training on our laser systems will be provided.
Responsibilities:
Fotona is currently seeking a Field Service Engineer – Installer for an entry-level role designed for individuals who are passionate about technology, problem-solving, and hands-on work. In this position, you will be responsible for the installation and setup of high-tech medical and dental lasers systems at customer locations. Comprehensive training on our laser systems will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to new customer locations for installations.
- Provide basic operation training to customers post-installation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation process.
- Ensure proper compliance with company and safety standards during installations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering degree or a related field.
- Education with electronics, biomedical engineering, or similar preferred.
- Customer service experience.
- Ability to travel up to 75%.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. though not on a daily basis, ability to lift and carry over 50 lbs. occasionally, ability to push/pull very heavy equipment on wheels/casters.
- Ability to stand, lift, push/pull, bend, squat, stretch, reach, twist/turn, walk, and reach throughout the day, ability to work at a computer and sit and/or drive for extended periods.
- Ability to analyze, test, and repair electronic equipment.
