Role Overview

The Southern Regional Sales Manager (RSM)Aesthetics Division will play a pivotal role in driving Fotona’s continued growth across a defined multi-state territory. This leader will manage and develop a high-performing team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) & Territory Managers (TMs), accelerate adoption of Fotona’s category-leading aesthetic technologies, and ensure flawless execution of the national commercial strategy established by the VP of Sales.

You will translate strategy into regional action, reinforce process discipline, elevate seller capability, and build a culture defined by accountability, collaboration, and winning. Key Responsibilities

1. Drive Regional Growth & Execute Sales Strategy
  • Execute the national commercial strategy within your assigned region to deliver strong, predictable revenue growth.
  • Develop regional business plans, territory prioritization, and action pathways that align to national objectives.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Clinical Education, and Operations to ensure your team is aligned on messaging, segmentation, sales motions, and the overall customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities for market expansion, competitive wins, and deeper customer penetration.

2. Lead, Coach & Inspire a High-Performing Regional Sales Team
  • Directly manage and coach RSMs & TMs (as applicable).
  • Build a culture of urgency, accountability, empowerment, and customer-centricity.
  • Drive consistent field execution, customer engagement, and pipeline discipline.
  • Partner with the VP of Sales to assess talent, address performance gaps, and build a strong, scalable bench.

3. Coaching, Development & Culture
  • Provide ongoing skills coaching, weekly 1:1s, and in-field joint selling to accelerate rep effectiveness.
  • Reinforce consistent messaging, product knowledge, and value-based selling motions.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement and Clinical Education to ensure your team receives impactful training, onboarding, and continuous development.
  • Model and promote a positive, collaborative, and high-performance culture.

4. Analytics, Forecasting & Performance Management
  • Manage sales forecasting, territory reviews, and regional pipeline health to support national planning.
  • Use Salesforce.com and data insights to drive activity prioritization, performance improvements, and accurate forecasting.
  • Monitor key metrics (quota attainment, KPIs, funnel conversion, territory development) to ensure strong, sustainable growth.
  • Ensure CRM compliance and reinforce process discipline across the team.

5. Operational Excellence, Process Execution & Sales Enablement
  • Implement and maintain scalable sales processes, frameworks, and weekly operating rhythms defined by Sales leadership.
  • Support compensation plan clarity, quota distribution, and regional incentive communications.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Enablement to ensure your region has the right tools, messaging, and content to win competitive deals.
  • Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops, consistent field engagement, and process optimization.

Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of sales experience in medical device, aesthetics, capital equipment, or specialty healthcare.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing, geographically dispersed field teams and consistently exceed targets.
  • Demonstrated strength in coaching, talent development, building leaders, and succession planning.
  • CRM fluency (Salesforce.com preferred); strong command of sales technology and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication & executive-level influence skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to travel nationally ~60%+ of the time to support customers, regional leaders, and strategic priorities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally, ability to lift and carry over 50 lbs. occasionally, ability to push/pull very heavy equipment on wheels/casters occasionally.
  • Ability to stand, lift, push/pull, bend, squat, stretch, reach, twist/turn, walk, and reach throughout the day, ability to work at a computer and sit and/or drive for extended periods frequently.
